Supplies for an Upcycled Mini Tin Mold Pumpkin
- Mini Tin Molds โ Thrift Store
- Spray Paint โ Bright Orange, Burnt Orange
- Ribbon โ Black and White Gingham
- Felt Scraps โ Olive Green, Dark Green
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks โ Dollar Store
- Twig or Branch โ From the Yard
- Scissors
- Wire Cutters
- Ruler
Step-by-Step Instructions
STEP ONE
Gather all supplies. Wash and dry the mini tin molds well. In a well-ventilated area, or outside, spray the outside of the mini tin molds with bright orange and burnt orange paint. Set aside to dry. Apply a second coat, if necessary. Mix the colors slightly by very lightly spraying one color on top of the other.
STEP TWO
Cut a small twig or tree branch into one-inch sections with a pair of wire cutters. Attach to the top of the mini tin molds with a glue gun and glue sticks. Hold in place until the glue dries completely.
STEP THREE
Cut small leaf shapes from olive green and dark green scraps of craft felt with scissors. To create dimension, apply a dot of glue at the base of each leaf and fold in half. Attach leaves to the top of the mini tin mold pumpkins with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP FOUR
Measure and cut three lengths of black and white gingham ribbon to eight-inch sections each. Tie in a bow, and then secure onto the mini tin mold pumpkins using a glue gun and glue sticks.
